Porter Robinson - Nurture Box Set Animation

I was commissioned to create an animated teaser for Porter Robinson’s sophomore album, “Nurture” showcasing the elaborate box set that fans were able to order upon release. The box set featured a textured container, a special edition double album, art book, and five singles on separate disks.

I modeled nearly everything by hand, and UV mapped and textured the box contents to be true to life. Using elegant animation techniques, I wanted the contents to appear to be floating on a thin sheet of air. The white void background and realistic lighting gives the video an uncanny, yet beautiful feel.
